SWERV Window Locks (Recommended for Security, Safety, Sealing, and Stability) 2-Pack

Add a simple extra layer of security, safety, and sealing stability to your SWERV install.

These clamp-on window locks attach to most vertical (double-hung) and horizontal sliding windows to limit how far the window can move. That helps in three important ways:

Security: Makes it much harder for someone to slide the window open from the outside.

Safety: Helps prevent kids or pets from shifting the window and loosening the unit.

Better sealing over time: Keeps the window tight against SWERV so it stays snug, insulated, and weather-sealed instead of slowly working loose.

Why we recommend them for SWERV

SWERV performance depends on a tight fit. If a window slowly creeps open even a little, you can lose sealing and insulation. These locks help “set it and forget it” by keeping the window exactly where you installed it.

How to install (takes about 1 minute)

Slide the window to the exact position you want (for SWERV: snug against the unit).

Add the protective pad over the screws and hand tighten to lock on the window track/frame where it blocks the window from moving.

Then using the provided tool, tighten the screws until it’s secure. Over tightening can damage window

Test by gently trying to move the window.

Tip: Use two locks that are provided for the most secure hold, especially for SWERV installs (one on each side for better stability).

Compatibility

Works with most sliding windows, sliding doors, and double-hung windows that have a track/frame lip the lock can clamp onto. Not intended for casement or crank-out windows.
